Ann Meyer is a Registered Nurse with over 23 years’ experience in multiple aspects of Nursing, including – Emergency/Trauma nursing, EPIC training, Case Management, and Quality, with over 15 years of progressive leadership roles. Ann is currently the Director of Physician Leadership & Strategic Integration at NCH Healthcare System, in Naples, FL. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and continued her studies at Florida Atlantic University, where she received her Master of Science in Nursing, with an emphasis on Administration and Finance.
As a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Ann has helped to lead organizational change through initiatives such as observational protocols, a Physician Professionalism program to drive culture change, and connecting physician-led strategic initiatives to optimize healthcare systems. In this role, Ann has also helped to create a Physician Leadership Academy that is driven by physician input and enhances the “voice of the physician.” As the first RN in the nation to train with the Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, Ann finds innovative ways to drive opportunities for healthcare professionals to lead transformational change in their organizations.
