AAPL is seeking volunteers to serve as mentors, coaches, mock interviewers, resume reviewers and other areas of interest you feel would be beneficial to support the attendee’s career and professional development. 

Help physicians take control of their leadership journey. At each stage of a physician leaders’ career, professional development gives a competitive advantage for leadership opportunities. AAPL’s Career & Professional Development Workshop focuses on self-management, professional capabilities, and improving yourself both as an individual and within your profession.

Those early in their career may seek opportunities to advance in the workplace, mid-careerist may look to manage and influence others, and as a they advance into senior leadership roles they may look to influence and create systemic change by leading organizations.

This highly interactive and experiential workshop will be held on Sunday, June 11 from 8:30am - 12:30pm, and will allow attendees to participate in the activities that best match their current level of interest and career development needs.
