In April 2022, he transitioned out of the Clinical Institute work and, in addition to being the CMO at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, now is the Executive Director of Operations.

In 2023, he collaborated with co-editor Erin Dupree and Chief editor Mark Olszyk in creating “The Chief Medical Officer’s Essential Handbook”. In this book he co-authored the chapter on “Managing Contracts” and the commentary on “The CEO and the CMO” and “The CMO and the Chief Nursing Officer: Creating Synergy” chapters.
