Jennifer J. Bryan, MD, FAAFP, is a board-certified family physician, executive health policy strategist, and founder of Quiet Signal Technologies LLC, where she is developing ShimmerFrame®, a patent-pending clinical AI governance platform designed to preserve clinician authority, accountability, provenance, and auditability as artificial intelligence becomes embedded in care delivery. A past president of the Mississippi State Medical Association, longtime AMA delegate, former chair of the Mississippi Delegation to the AMA, and current member of the AMA Council on Science and Public Health, Dr. Bryan has spent nearly two decades working across frontline care, organized medicine, health policy, regulatory engagement, and physician-led governance.
Dr. Bryan originated and helped shepherd AMA policy calling for transparency, risk-based governance, lifecycle monitoring, and clinically useful disclosure in the use of augmented intelligence in health care. Her broader work engages federal and standards-aligned conversations around clinical AI accountability, provenance, auditability, and responsible deployment. Her career spans community family medicine, academic medicine, public health crisis response, state and national physician leadership, and invited national speaking and media engagement. She brings to the AAPL stage a practical physician-leader perspective on the central question facing health care AI: how to deploy powerful technology in ways that remain accountable to patients, usable by clinicians, auditable by institutions, and governed before it scales.
