Devjit Roy, MD, MAS, MSPC, is a physician executive, hospitalist, skilled nursing physician, and palliative care physician whose work lives at the intersection of medicine, technology, and leadership. He serves as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Medical Information Officer, and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Nathan Littauer Hospital and Nursing Home — an independent rural health system in upstate New York — where he is also Medical Director of the nursing home. He continues to practice clinically across hospital, skilled nursing, and palliative care settings, and serves as a board member at Mountain Valley Hospice and as Chief Growth Officer at Biotech Support Group, LLC.

That dual vantage point, executive and bedside, shapes his book Between Heartbeats and Algorithms: Reclaiming What Matters in Healthcare (American Association for Physician Leadership, 2025). Drawing on more than a decade of caring for patients, the book explores how clinicians and health systems can adopt AI and digital tools without sacrificing the human connection at the heart of care.

Board certified in Family Medicine, Hospital Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Dr. Roy holds master's degrees in Population Health and Palliative Care
