Arash Mahin is co-founder and CEO of HygenX Ai, an Ottawa-based Physical AI company building autonomous UVC disinfection robots for hospitals and health systems. HygenX's platform, RAY, delivers measured, room-level pathogen reduction and streams the operational data infection prevention and physician leaders need to audit it.

A pilot with an engineering background, Arash brings a safety-critical, systems-engineering mindset from aviation into healthcare — where he believes environmental disinfection deserves the same measurement discipline as any other clinical control. Before founding HygenX, he held technology and operations roles at Air Canada and Searidge Technologies (a Nav Canada company).
