Help the American Association for Physician Leadership help current and future physician leaders. Apply to join the Physician Leadership Journal’s editorial review board.
Editorial board members help AAPL's publishing team select the best, most-informative professional-submitted articles to appear in the association's print and digital media for physician leaders around the world. Working independently, editorial board members review and make recommendations to the Journal’s editors about the articles they’ve read.
The editorial board enables the Journal to enjoy its status as a peer-reviewed publication. Peer-reviewed status gives an extra measure of authority to the content within the Journal’s pages.
Prospective candidates should send a letter of interest to firstname.lastname@example.org. Attach your curriculum vitae, highlighting your experience with publishing (if any). Ideal candidates will have Certified Physician Executive status and familiarity with the publishing process.
The editorial board is an unpaid position. Travel is not a requirement, although members are asked to attend at least one in-person meeting a year.
Members are not required to be based in the United States, but they must understand written English. For questions or comments, email us at email@example.com.
The deadline to apply is July 1, 2019.
