Lisa Laurent, MD, MBA, MS, CPE is a Board-certified radiologist and physician leader actively engaged in research and publishing, hospital governance and resident mentorship. She is President-Elect of the Medical Staff and Chairman of the Credentials Committee at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (ALGH) and President of Advanced Radiology Consultants, both in Park Ridge, Illinois.
A graduate of Smith College, Dr. Laurent received her medical degree from Drexel University (formerly The Medical College of Pennsylvania) and completed her diagnostic radiology residency training at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center/University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston followed by a cross-sectional imaging fellowship at The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard Medical School. She earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin where she served as President of the Sigma Gamma Zeta II Honor Society for outstanding scholastic achievement and was the keynote speaker for the 2012 Honor Society Awards Banquet. Dr. Laurent is currently matriculated at the Jefferson College of Population Health earning a Masters of Science in Health Care Quality and Safety Management.
